Unlike the stock gearbox this custom made gearbox is custom made in house. We use 40CR tempered steel in order to give the gears the extra strength needed to withstand the torque from the motors. The gearbox directly bolts onto the stock mounting brackets. The inside of the gearbox is modified in order to allow for thicker gears. The gearbox comes pre greased and pre assembled. When purchasing the upgraded gearbox we recommend you also purchase our tempered steel couplers. If you wish you have the ability to do so when checking out.
